Welcome to Sanbis Cabin! Perfect for couples, friends and families our cute and cosy beachside retreat is perched on a private access esplanade road overlooking the Aldinga Conservation Park with stunning sea views.

Two bedrooms feature super comfy queen beds, brand new bathroom and kitchen, wifi, Netflix, pool, sunsets and more! Everything you need for a relaxing, luxury getaway just metres from famous drive-on Aldinga Beach and Pearl Restaurant.

About This Stay

Sanbis Cabin is designed to be pleasing to the senses, creating a peaceful sanctuary with all the amenities you need. Our boutique boho style bungalow features beautiful cane furniture, luxurious beds and linens for a great nights sleep, new kitchen, appliances and modern bathroom.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, epic family beach holiday or cosy, private escape from the hustle and bustle – we’ve got you covered. Shared facilities with the other cabins include swimming pool, lawned bbq area and laundry room (Sanbis Cabin has it’s own washing machine and clothes line).

The boardwalk lookout (literally at your doorstep!) will lead you to some of the most magnificent coastal views you have ever seen. Spend your days exploring the famous wineries of McLaren Vale, eating renowned local food, or bushwalking through the scrublands, we promise the coming ‘home to Sanbis’ will be one of the highlights of your trip.

If you’re craving that weekend recharge, you may just choose to relax on the beach, by the pool or curled up in the cabin reading and watching Netflix. Either way, start your day on the deck with a morning coffee, regular visits from the local kangaroos, and be sure to be back at your ‘home away from home’ to catch the sunset, they’re spectacular.

Reverse cycle heating and cooling, along with ceiling fans in both bedrooms keeps the cabin comfortable all year round. Winters are just as wonderful as summer, watching the rain roll in across the ocean and those stormy seas.

All bed linen and bath towels provided – just bring beach/pool towels :)

The Neighbourhood

Aldinga Beach is one of the few beaches in Australia where cars are permitted to drive on sections of the broad sand, making access to the beach especially easy. It is renowned for its safe swimming, expansive sandy areas and extremely family friendly which sees the population in the local area boom come summer. Come winter, we enjoy a slower pace of life and the beach is closed to cars. We see guests coming for the cosy, relaxed lifestyle and enjoying brisk beach walks with views of the rolling green hills and stormy seas.

A little patch of seaside bliss less than an hour from Adelaide and mere minutes from McLaren Vale’s award-winning wineries. A popular year-round destination, Aldinga Beach embraces a friendly and welcoming community. Local cafes and eateries offer a taste of the region's culinary delights, allowing you to savor fresh seafood, great coffee and local produce while enjoying the coastal atmosphere.

Trails at Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park take in dunes, rare orchids, echidna anteaters and birdlife, and nearby Thomas Street Reserve is a grassy seaside picnic spot. The relaxed dining scene consists of cafes, pubs, fish-and-chip shops and world class restaurants with incredible views. Wineries in the nearby McLaren Vale region offer tours, tastings and long lunches. Tourists and locals alike flock to the famous Willunga Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

Getting Around

It is great to have a car for exploring the area and doing day trips to all the amazing places you can access easily from Aldinga Beach. However public transport is just a short walk away should you need it and we can help advise local tour guides for winery tours etc!
